PPhhhhheeeeeeeeetttttttttttttttttttt !!!!!!!

I accompanied Ivan to the park today. uhh ... Ivan loves it there. Imagine he was cranky when I woke him up and just minutes later, in the park, he was telling me that he's feeling happy now. There he goes .. up the stairs, down the slides. Besides that, I was actually given an opportunity to take notice of other parents. Being a nosy person I am by nature, I start to analyze each other the couples with the child (or children) they brought. Anyway, I'm not an expert in that field to comment. So, what am I getting at? Well, put it this way... What I observed from the parents I met today made me apprehensive. And, at the same time, gave me an idea.

I think ... that every child should carry a whistle. A whistle to be blown off whenever they needed help. An instrument for them to call for their parents or maids when they are not looking. A little tool for them to be the center of attention when they are lost (or feel at lost). The only thing is, they would need to be taught to use it only wisely. Perhaps, that could help to reduce child-related crimes. I hope ... *and pray*

Besides the whistle, they should also carry a card bearing their emergency contact numbers. Not too much of details but just enough to be sent home if they are lost.

Hmm ... what do you think?

Ok ... I know, I know. I'm over doing it again. I'm being over protective. But, well, I would rather be that way than sorry. With so many crime cases involving children, I wouldn't risk it. And neither should you. *Pointer pointing at you ... yes, you ... * Oh ya, do you know that nothing can grab someone's attention from a distance or hail a cab better than a whistle? :P
