3rd Birthday Bash !

It's 27th of August today. 2 days after Ivan's birthday..

Finally, we celebrated Ivan's 3rd birthday. *phew* For almost a month, I have been busy with the party packs every night. As it is meant to be a surprise for him, I had to do it during late at night, after he slept.


So .. what were the surprises? Jeffrey organised a birthday party for him at home on Saturday night. Last year, the guests were mainly adults. But this year, we invited some children over ! This is the first time we throw a party with more than 40 guests and ... O_o (toinggg !) I was so surprised and overwhelmed by the amount of work to be done even though we have ordered for catering services !

Rupa-rupanya, it's not easy being a good host. Plan as well as you think and try as hard as you can, sure bound to have hiccups. But well, in the end, it wasn't really that bad. With more practices, we can even throw in some games and prizes. Haha ... perhaps next year.

That's the surprise party at home.

Ivan's actual birthday falls on a schooling day. Guess what we did? We sent him to school in the morning, collected the cake and party packs and taaadaaaaa in school. *grin* He was really surprised and his first sentence was, 'I want to go home, mummy.' And said bye to his friends. :) Kids. We brought him home with us ... after the cutting the cake and distributing the party packs *bad of us .. hey ! it's schooling hour*

So, overall, I suppose he's happy. :) Happy birthday Ivan.
