My First School Trip

Ivan went to Beryl's Chocolate Factory today with his schoolmates and teachers. It's his first rombongan sambil belajar ! (school trip).

I anticipated that he will be thrilled with the trip (since he loves chocolate) but when Jef sent him to school this morning, he cried hysterically. He probably wanted Jef to follow along or he's just terrified with the idea of getting on a bus. Anyway, he got on. He went on with the trip.

So, we had to wait till he comes home for news. The wait was painful but worthwhile. The last I checked with him, he said he had a great time today. He had McDonald's for lunch and he bought back some chocolates.

[Ivan] : I like to eat McDonald's. I like to eat fish in a burger. Burger fish. Fish burger.

[me] : Did you finish it Ivan?

[Ivan] : Yes. I like french fries. I like McDonald's.

Clearly, he had a great time. I heard the teachers took some photos. Will check with them and hopefully, I can get some to post it up. :) So much for my son's first trip without his parents.
