Thanks ... but not to my teachers. I mean, I am also thankful for the great things they have done for me. But no, this is not about them yet. They are Ivan's teachers that I need to thank.
Because of them, Ivan sits still in the car.
Because of them, Ivan obeys us.
Because of the teachers, Ivan finishes the last bite.
[me] : Hey, c'mon... quick.. just one last bite !
[Ivan still with his mouth closed tight, shaking his head, gesturing that he's full].
[me] : Remember what teacher said? Teacher said don't waste food, Ivan.
[Ivan obediently opens up his mouth to eat the last bite]
Because of the teachers, Ivan takes his bath. He hates taking bath. He dreads it whenever it's time to shower. He cries each time when I bath him and it's a wonder how come none of my neighbours called the police for possibility of child abuse. I used to have lots of ideas to trick him to shower. I will tempt him with toys, games to play in bathroom and etc... but he knew all my tricks too well and I ran out of ideas lately. Until Jef started scaring him with teacher, threatening to send him to school if he doesn't listen and .. we are so mean !
Poor baby. *sigh* I know, I know. We are not helping him love school and we are actually pulling him further away from loving school. And the worst part is, we scare him about school so much and we still send him there everyday. He must have felt so confused ... and betrayed !
Hence, I made an agreement with Jef. We shall not make use of the teachers anymore. We shall not scare him with school anymore. :) We will just think of other tricks and reasons to make him eat and bath. *pheww ...* I feel better now. But well, I still want to say Thanks Teachers !
