Ivan still can't say the word. I can see that he's trying his best to say it but somehow, he blurts it as 'baaaaaa beeeeee'. Well, it's either baby or ... babi? He speaks it one syllable at a time, putting in alot of effort to follow what I'm saying but he's still not getting it right.
[me holding a piece of Reese's peanut butter cup, trying to bribe him]
[me] : Vernie say Maaaaaaaa
[Ivan] : Baaaaaaaaa
[me] : Meeeeeeeeeee
[Ivan] : Beeeeeeeeeee
[Ivan grinning away .. waiting for me to feed him Reese's]
Other than Mummy, some other words he uttered and sounded funny are 'siittttt' (sounded like shit), 'baaa buuuu' (Jef said he's probably trying to say pat-poh) and 'kcchhh' (it could be cup as he's actually asking for a drink)
It has been fun staying home with him for this couple of days. And, I will surely miss him when I'm back to work tomorrow. Probably should do this more frequently. Should give my MIL more leave. *wicked* !
