F.I.V.E

Five. Spending only RM5 for each meal. Yeap, that's what I'm trying to achieve now, everyday for every meals when I'm at work.

This started off when my colleague and I were out having lunch and we asked for the bill. The bill was just RM 15.20. For the both of us. *nhuh? RM15.20?? There must be a mistake* We were quite surprised and double checked the bill cause we were pretty sure there's a mistake. The bill is correct. We left the shop feeling happy at how cheap the lunch was.

Cheap??

Thing is, we finally realised that we have been spending quite a lot on our meals, an average of RM15 per meal. Hmm, the last I checked, I didn't earn that much and that explains alot about me being poor. Geezzz ..

So ! So, I have decided to cut down on meals. :) The limit is just five. Haha, the result so far?
Day 1 : RM4.50
Day 2 : RM5.00 (nah, I didn't skip lunch. My generous client spent me lunch.)
Day 3 : RM2.50
Day 4 : RM8.20 (-RM3.20)
Day 5 : RM2.50

Not bad, huh? Imagine for a 20 working days and with an average of RM 15 per meal, I used to spend about RM300. And if I manage to stick to just RM5, I get to save RM200 ! Woweeee ... !!

I shared this idea of mine with hubby dear and with sympathetic look, he passed me a piece of chicken and said, "Here, you must be hungry. Eat more. Can I give you RM5 everyday to help?" Haha .. ! Thanks hubby, but that's not the point. If I get to save RM200, it's my achievement and I will be proud of myself.

What about you? How much did you spend for lunch just now? or yesterday?
