Poor Little Foot

Oohh ... poor little boy, poor little left foot. Ivan sprained his left foot since Sunday. It must have hurt alot as he was crying in pain. Because of the pain, he refrained us from touching the bruised and swelling spot and we can't even apply any ointment or have a good look at it. *sighhh*

Since Sunday, the most frequently cried out sentence by Ivan is just, 'My leg pain pain .... pain pain'. Hearing him crying in pain and not able to do anything hurt us so much. He is excused from school and at home, he's just sitting down on the floor playing with his toys (while wearing a bored look). He simply moves around by swish swashing his butt on the floor. Me so sad.

We can only look at the swelling foot when he's asleep and gently, we rub in some ointment hoping to make him feel better. After 3 days of not being able to walk and stand, we decided to bring him to see the doctor. The X-Ray assured us that everything looks fine and he shall be up and running after several days. It was just some tissues swelling up and nothing serious.

Back at home from the hospital, Ivan tried standing up and took a few steps. *me jumping up and down.. yay!* He's walking again !! It's like watching him taking his first few steps 2 years ago.. hmm, me so proud and glad. He shall be able to attend School's Sports Day on this coming Sunday afterall. :)
