Back from Paradise

Yeap, we are back. We are back from Lumut. Went to Lumut with Jeffrey's colleagues for 3 days and 2 nights. We were exhausted but we are feeling sunny. We were badly burned by the sun but we love the new skin we are changing into. We didn't get to do island hopping but we are hopping around in delight. We didn't join the group for canoing but we saddled and paddled in the faithful zebra float, in the pool. We had an awesome time, we had a really great trip. Hmm... All because Ivan behaved.

He didn't freak out when we showed him the room and he didn't turn green when we told him we'll be staying there for 2 nights. He didn't flinch when we turned off the bed lights at night and most of all, he didn't ask to come home. phheeww

We prepared him with what to expect during the trip weeks earlier. We told him about the sea, the pool, the room and the stuffs we will be doing together. Well, as this is his 'first' time, he didn't really understand what we were babbling about. He did catch the 'sea' portion and that did trigger him to say, 'I don't like sea. There's shark. Shark eats Ivan !'. Hmmm .... So, needless to say, when he was on the beach, he freaked and was reluctant to move his legs. But I told him that I didn't want to get near anyway, don't want to dirty up my flip flops. Hahahha ... vain !

Then there's the pool. We spent 30% of our time in the pool with Ivan. Sitting by the side of the pool, on the steps. *sigh* He is so afraid of the water ! While everyone else wet themselves from top to toe, Ivan was miraculously dry on the head.
