Big Boy

He's a bigger boy now compared to last week because he shared his preference of medicine with the doctor. He told him he preferred the orange coloured one and he doesn't want cough mixture.

He's a bigger boy now compared to last week because he knows how to take medicine on his own and is proud when he didn't end up crying. Mind you, he chews on his pills and pushes the syringe of medicine into his own mouth.

He's definitely a bigger boy now compared to last week because he is a better mannered boy. When he smelled someone farted, he says, 'Who pooot and didn't say excuse me?' Well, try and deny it as much as you like but be embarrassed when he assures you with, 'I can smell'.

He's a bigger boy now compared to last week because he can differentiate between singular and plural. When it's 1 bus, it's bus ! When it's 2, it's buses. And 3, it's also buses. 4 buses, 5 buses and 1? Bus.

He's a bigger boy today compared to last week because I find him so. I realised that his little fingers and feet are now much bigger. He's much taller, his face chubbier, he behaves sweeter and smiles lovelier. Hence, these make him a bigger boy in my heart.

I find him older by the day and I want to be part of his life, daily, while he grows up. I wouldn't want to miss not even a single day as I would want to have a better picture of him growing up, clearly photographed in my mind.

Not a day to be missed. Not any day to be missed. Not when my boy is growing up.
