Roaches ! Who loathes them? Me !!!!!! And millions others who are not afraid of lizards. I realised that majority of those who are afraid of lizards are not afraid of cockcroaches and vice versa. (I can catch a lizard, break its tail and feed to a fish)
Haha ! But I loath roaches. I hate them. I am scared of them. :(
My colleague and I shared stories today about our 'encounters with the hard-shelled-smelly-creatures' and my first encounter was when I little. I stood on a rattan stool while taking my bath and the horrible creature crawled up from the stool and on my back. It's like wow, what nice view from here and I'm going to run around to check out the place ! Eeeewwwww ... I screamed so loud till my mom had to break down the toilet door to save me from God-knows-what.
Second encounter is when I participated in a step-the-roach-game with a bunch of other children. They surrounded the roach and took turns to step on it. And when it's my turn, I reckon that the creature is dead by then. But how wrong I was. One step on it and .... the game backfired with the creature crawled up on my foot. *sob*sob*
Because of my fear for the horrible insect, I develop a special kind of sense (like spidey sense). I can smell them when their nearby, I can hear them giggling in the closet, I can see them lurking around from the corner of my eye and I can tell when they fake death to get me (just when you think they are dead, you tried to sweep them off with broom and the dirty 6 feet creature will come chase after you)
My colleague and I has this habit of scanning through the toilet cubicle first before using it because there might be one hiding behind the door or at the water outlet hole or underneath the toilet bowl or there could be one on the ceiling, peeking down while you do your business. Ok enough. I'm all goose bumped.
Is there anything that you fear most like how I feared cockcroaches?
