Our Escapade !

We have always wanted to travel, Jef and I. But with Ivan, it is alittle more challenging. Now that he's 2, we agreed to give it a try and we did. We just went ahead and booked a room and tada ! in Kuala Lumpur. Haha ... yes, we did. We booked a room in Kuala Lumpur which is just 30 minutes' drive from home. We are not that brave in this aspect. We couldn't take the risk of going to far at the moment. So, well, it's a night-out-of-home test and this is how we did !

We checked into Equatorial KL and walked over to KL convention Center's Aquaria. Because of Finding Nemo, I realised that Ivan loves sea animals (particularly Sharks) and that's why we brought him there. Hey, that place is not bad, for the price paid, it's kind of worth it. So, we went there and had a great time. I do like the moving walkway underwater tunnel. Well, not that I have not been in one before but I do like the feeling of faking to be in ocean, without the need of oxygen tank, diver's license, diver's equipments, and ... brave heart. For someone who doesn't know how to swim, this is definitely more than enough for me. :)

After Aquaria, we headed towards KLCC for shopping time ! Isetan is still having sales and I did spoil myself alittle that day. Then, we proceeded to Chili's for lunch and after lunch, we sat around the park to view the fountain. Finally, we headed to Cold Storage to grab some snacks and headed back to the hotel. Ivan played with the mini pool (aka bath tub) and after bathing, we watched Charlie's Chocolate Factory on HBO with Ivan inbetween us. Had a great night rest and the next day, we had breakfast buffet and headed home, feeling relaxed all over. Ahhhh ...

Daddy, it's a turtle !
Cute Cute ! (Ivan saw a cutie little fish that jumps around at the bottom of the reef)

Isn't the above nice and sweet? Kua kua kua ... everything was as planned till Cold Storage bit. Ivan has decided that hey ... things are too nice and dandy ! So, while Jef was queuing up to pay, Ivan threw up all over me. Everything he ate for breakfast, lunch and snacks, came pouring out all over me like the famous Merlion in Singapore.

In summary, he threw up for a total of 5 1/2 times from KLCC till Equatorial. (1/2 because there was once he threw up alittle while we were in cab. Little enough for my palm to grab all.) And, Jef and I had our fair share of being wai tai parents. I had the first round and while I was changing to a new shirt, Ivan threw up again on daddy outside. *hehehhe*

We finally decided to check out and head home. Ivan was so relieved and happy to be home.

Lessons learnt :
1. Home is too comfortable and we both doubt that we can travel anywhere soon with him. And, since we are not leaving him behind, we shall stay home for a couple more years. *sob*sob*
2. We shall not feed Ivan too much. It was probably a case of indigestion.
3. Mummy and Daddy will need to bring extra clothes for outings (even shopping) next time. Daddy could only change when we got back to hotel. :D He was smeared with Chili's grilled chicken + sauce + chicken rice (breakfast) + hot dog bread (snack)

But in short, we really had a great time. :) Damn therapeutic though ....
