To proof there's force of gravity, Ivan fell out of bed at 4am this morning. Our bed is about 14 inches thick and divan is about 5 - 6 inches high. In total, it was approximately 20 inches in height.
This is the brief chronology of events :
1. A loud thud was heard
2. Jef jumped out of bed (I opened up my sleepy eyes)
3. Ivan wail his lungs out (I opened both eyes wider)
4. Jef was hysterical and carried Ivan up (OMG ! What happened?? Jef kicked Ivan by accident?)
The story ended with Jef comforted Ivan and then passed on to me. Ivan rested his head on my shoulder and fell back to sleep.
Apparently, Jef saved Ivan once earlier. Ivan loves to roll around on bed and he was very near the edge when Jef saw and brought him back in the center.
Moral of the story :
1. Force of gravity existed. (yes of course ... I'm not drunk)
2. Ivan please sleep on your pillow !
3. I shall not sleep like a log
