Sandman :
We saw a pile of sand just now and Ivan asked us this, "Where's the sandman?" tsk tsk tsk .. too much of spidey movies. Anyway, when I tried to explain to him that sandman doesn't exist and it's just a fictional character, he gets upset. So, I replied, "Sandman is sleeping, Ivan." So, this happens everytime he sees pile of sand. It simply reminds him of the Sandman...Daisy the Bear :
Out of the blue, Ivan has this special fondness for a white little 9 inch bear (which has been lying around unnoticed for more than a year). Everywhere he goes (except school), Ivan brings the bear, Daisy, along. So while playing with Daisy in the car, Ivan said, "Mummy, where's Daisy's dingding?" Dingding is the cute word we use to represent the male's private. Me replying, "Daisy don't have dingding, Ivan." He was surprised ... and alittle confused. He holds the bear up and inspected the bottom. And he concluded, "Bear only has butt butt. Can only poo poo .. eekk eeekkkkk "
So Smelly :

Ivan loves to do his business in diaper instead of toilet. This is something which annoys me big time because of the mess and smell. Uhh .. bet you can imagine it. Each time when I open up the diaper to wash him, the smell is so strong and I will chide at him, "Can you poo in toilet next time? It's so smelly and I feel like puking! Look at you, look at the mess ! You are such a dirty boy .. shame on you ... "
Then one day, after his business and while I was opening up his diaper, he quickly close my nose with his little palm. "Mummy, so smelly and you want to puke? Cover your nose ... Mummy, you will scold me if I poo alot alot? You will?" Geezzz ... such sweet gesture and thoughts. How could I be mad at you, baby?
