Misunderstood

Misunderstandings have never been so hilarious. I realised recently that Ivan misunderstood some of the words or phrases we use sometimes.

1. Go ahead

Ivan's translation : "Mummy, why you say my head? Why go my head?"

2. Breakfast

Ivan's translation : "Daddy, I don't want noodles, I want to have bread first.. Mummy say have bread first"

We were puzzled for awhile and then only realised why he insisted to have bread first. Breakfast sounded like bread first to him ... hmm ...

3. Toothache

Ivan's translation : Tooth has an egg !

Now who will thought that words can be so fun ... :)
