Goodbye BFF !

Today marked one of the *most* important days in Ivan's life.

He threw his pacifier into the dustbin. (yeah, he's the man !)

*approximately 30 minutes earlier*

We were coming home from Sunway Pyramid. I had alittle chat with Ivan about the state of his pacifier. I noticed there's a slit at the top and I raised my concern to him about infested germs and bacteria inside the slit. Told him that it could be the reason of his stomach discomfort recently. (He has been complaining about stomach aches recently) I had a 'discussion' with him and let him decide what to do about his pacifier. He surprised us by declaring that he will throw away his pacifier later. Deep inside, Jef and I was skeptical but well, let's just wait and see.

So, when we reached home, the determined little boy walked towards the dustbin and without thinking twice, *ploooopp*, he threw his BFF !

..... a moment of silence. I went into the kitchen and checked out the dustbin just to be sure.


*Jaws dropped !*

[me] : Come here baby, I want to give you a big hug for making such a brave decision.

[Jef] : Ivan, I want to hug you too..

We are so proud of Ivan but, we are also expecting terrible-massive-cranky times ahead of us; for at least a week. Expect us to be cruel but, we have to. *nodding nodding*

So, I guess this is goodbye. Goodbye BFF ! Goodbye pacifier !
