It has been 4 days Ivan live his life without his pacifier. We were expecting the worst but, turns out to be hey-it-was-not-that-bad-afterall !
You can hear him say this for atleast 10 times in a day, "Paci, mummy I want paci". If not that, he will be licking and smacking his lips before he sleeps, as though he has honey rubbed on it. And lastly, I have caught him cheekily putting things in his mouth like the corner of pillow twice.
That's it ! That's all ... :) nothing major and no massive tantrums. I gotta say this, hmm, for a child who's so strongly habituated to pacifier, to wean him off it, I didn't know it could be that simple. I guess, it happens just so naturally and at his own will. So, no point forcing, mummies !
Let me try this theory again with baby. Ha ! If it works again, I'll let you know..... in another 4 years' time.
