Concert Day !

Time flies (yeah, I'm always saying that). It's has been almost a year of school for Ivan. To show off to parents the achievements in 2008, Ivan's pre-school organised a Concert Day !

We got up early on the Concert Day just so that Ivan won't be sleepy and cranky. Weeks prior to the concert day, we also prepared him with scenarios of the big day by telling him how crowded it's going to be and he will be performing on stage. We got him to do sneak previews and most of all, we told him that we will be there to clap after all of his performances. He was as thrilled as us and we looked forward to the day to come and ............................................. finally it's here.

*heart thumping fast on the day itself, in Concert Venue*

Teachers started by helping to prepare the students. They were required to apply some basic makeup (with super red lipcolour, blue eyeshadow and pinky blush !). hhahha ... Ivan looked so juicy and pretty after the makeup (you know, like those china dolls?). The students then started with first group singing performance. aawwww .... Ivan cried during this performance. He wanted me to be with him but of course, I stood by his side, offstage.

Luckily it was just the first performance that he cried. Later on, he was doing marvelous in the next 2 performances. Look, that's my boy !

The Concert Day was a success and everyone could see that the teachers put in alot of effort in making it a worthwhile time for the children and parents.
