That's Gian (or better known as Giant). The notorious bully in the Japanese Manga series, Doraemon. This is the dreadful bully who thinks he has talent in singing. With help from unwilling Doraemon and Nobita Nobi, he will gather everyone to listen to his concert. Rain or shine or thunderstorm will not deter him from 'entertaining' his fellow friends with his horrendous voice.
Now, look at the one below. :) That's my son, doing the impersonation of Gian? Nah ... ! Ivan is not a famous icon. Just like some other children, Ivan loves to sing. Check out his recorded songs here. He sounded really adorable previously ... but lately, he yells instead of singing. Daddy then commented, "Ivan ... ! You sounded like Gian !".
There was once, Ivan pretended to be the teacher encouraging the students to sing louder. He said to me, "I can't hear you mummy. Sing louder ! Louder ! I can't hear you ... ". Funny thing was every time when he said that, he has his little palm placed behind his ear, pushing himself nearer to me with that side of the ear facing me. A body gesture simply telling me to speak up or rather sing out loud.
So, my best bet is that he is interpreting sing louder as yell louder. Perhaps, this is one of the performances the Montessori class is doing for the year end concert. Wow ... I can't wait. Can't wait for little Gian impersonator to be on stage !
