Approximately 4 years ago, I made this brilliant remark. "If my son wants to drink milk, I would be happy to wake up and make him some".
That's exactly what I said whenever some mummies complaint about waking up so many times at night to feed. Feeding Ivan was slightly easier as he was not fond of milk. I only need to get up twice (or thrice the most) at night to feed. And, I have never fed him milk more than 5 oz each time from baby till 1 year old (which he then stops drinking milk). Seeing my little skinny Ivan last time made me say that.
... 4 years later ..
I need to get up at every 2 hours interval to feed Jayden. He takes 10 minutes to finish up milk and I would need to cradle him for another 20 - 30 minutes before tucking him in his cot to sleep. That leaves me with approximately an hour to dream up something nice before he cries for milk again. 0Ooo000oooOOoooo00oooOOoooo *me seeing stars ... or is that a moon?*
Nevertheless, I'm not taking back what I said. Yeap, I just need to adjust my time and try to catch some sleep before I collapse. Uughh ... that won't happen, I hope. :P
All for the love of Jayden !
