With me expecting Jayden a couple of months ago, some people warned me to expect bad behaviour from Ivan when Jayden is born. I was warned that Ivan would probably be crankier, annoying and super irritating boy after the birth of baby. I took the heed and shared with Jeffrey to prepare him as well; mentally to be patient if that happens. Afterall, he's just seeking for attention from us.
After the birth of Jayden, true enough, Ivan was everything everyone warned me about. He can be annoying and unreasonable. He is extra demanding and cries for no apparent reason. He loses his temper several times a day and have to endure the cane for crossing the limit. *sigh* He is just doing it all to get our attention and to have assurance that we still love him. We still do, of course ! Well, we are not that impatient. There were actually many occassions when we had to surpress our impatience and anger but the boy just wouldn't budge. He instigate us to the max, testing our patient level, as though wanting us to revolt.
Those were what we were expecting. But what we least expect was this, came from Ivan twice on different nights. While he was deep asleep ...
[Ivan crying] : Mummy, I want you ... I love you mummy ... *sob*sob*
..................... and the other time, happened yesterday night.
[Ivan whispered with his eyes half closed] : I love you ...
So sweet of him and yet, so irritating at times. One last question, how long will this period last?
