We were watching TV yesterday and in the movies, there's a little boy who stayed home with his mom.[Ivan] : Why he stays at home? His mummy also at home? Why he is not in school?
[me hesitant for awhile as I was wondering whom he was referring to] : Ohhh ... he's probably getting ready for school.
[Ivan] : I see his mummy just now.. He's at home.
[me] : OOooohhhhh ... It's probably a Saturday Ivan. There's no school on Saturday, remember?
Ivan nodded.
Hmm ... I have been telling him that every little children will need to attend school while daddies and mummies will need to work. Didn't expect him to catch it on TV and confront me on the spot. geeezzzz....
[Ivan] : Why all mothers need to work?
[me] : Because we need to buy food, buy clothes, buy toys for Ivan ...
[Ivan added] : Send me to school, buy books
[me] : Yeap yeap .. We also get smarter when we go to work. We learn like you too. *pheewww* so close to gotcha !
