Weekend

We love the weekend (oohh ... who doesn't??) and look forward to it on every Monday. Hmm ... missing weekend already.

Anyway, we had an eventful Saturday last week. We started off the day with brunch in BLR (banana leave rice) restaurant. Later on, I spent 2 hours plus doing my pedicure (blue !) and later on we attended a close cousin's wedding back in Jef's hometown. As it's just an hour's drive, we didn't overnight there and got back home late on Saturday night. After tucking Ivan into bed and took our shower, we plopped on the bed instantly. There goes our Saturday.

So, there still is Sunday to catch up on house chores and family outing time. As I was busy with chores in the kitchen, I could hear the guys mustering up some kind of games out there. I can't tell the complete picture of their game, but I can guess that they are playing pretend by the roars made at each other (pretending to be wild boars tigers or lions). Just like in any other games, it is bound to have some kids ended up sulking or crying. I then heard daddy sulking away with 'I don't want to friend you .... I don't want to play with you already'. But well, the unhappiness doesn't last forever so soon, they were giggling again and patching up and back to roaring at each other.

[Fast forwarded to several hours later ... to save you from dozing off and falling off chair]

Right after Ivan got up from his evening nap, we headed to the mall nearby for dinner. In this mall, there's an average size carousel in the center. Hmm ... I have always wanted to ride on the deer or horse on the carousel. But as I'm way passed the maximum weight limit (is there one?), I let Ivan enjoy the ride instead. That boy sure had a great time ! You can tell from the pictures.

So ... that's our weekend. Quality time spent with the family and wished the weekend can be longer ...
